7-20-05	Daniel meets with a friend and fellow web site designer by the name of Brent Moore locally here in the Phoenix, AZ area for the final time after meeting with him 5 or 6 times previously over the last few months. Since February of this year, he has been meeting with this individual to do all the necessary updates that needed to be completed for the updating of his web site. This was the absolute final time that he worked with him to do the remaining touches and updates to his web site and be once and for all completely done. After a lot of hard work, Daniel is very proud to announce that his web site is finally at a stage in which he can be very proud of it. A special thanks goes out here to his good friend Brent for making all this happen.
2-10-05	After having his set of Tabla that he purchased while he was on holiday with his girlfriend some 28 months earlier all the way back in Cape Cod MA. Daniel finally finds a proper Tabla instructor in the Phoenix, AZ area where he now resides and takes his very first proper lesson with a gentleman by the name of Daniel Hertz, who taught him his very first Kaida rhythm and how to sit properly at the Tabla for maximum playing comfort. This was an eye opening day, and Daniel looks forward to many more lessons in the future.
1-22-05	Daniel celebrates his 39th birthday. Though this time he and his wife Judith are now relocated and living full time in Phoenix, AZ.
9-24-04	Daniel purchases his second Roland Juno 106 Analog synthesizer. This was the very first synthesizer that he purchased 18 years earlier while he was a student at The Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio. It is the same synth that introduced him to electronic music in the first place. An important day of personal significance as Daniel’s electronic music career comes full circle in yet another strange and peculiar way.
8-23-04	Daniel and his new wife Judith spend their first full day in Phoenix, AZ at their new home unpacking and moving in. Both of them feel liberated from the hellish trials and tribulations of California. Daniel promised himself that he would never again return to that state unless it was under certain circumstances.
8-20-04	Daniel and his new wife Judith pack up all of their belongings once again for the second time in less than a year into another rented Penske truck. They then relocated from Auburn, CA to Phoenix, AZ. On the road driving day and night for two days and in yet another period of transition.
7-13-04	Daniel and his new wife Judith decide to take off once again on a road trip, this time to go explore Phoenix, AZ to secure employment and a new place to live. They are on the road for two weeks total in the middle of the summer before returning back to California.
1-22-04	Daniel celebrates his 38th birthday with his new wife Judith in Auburn, CA. Life just keeps moving forward. Though it keeps moving forward for the better all the time.
10-28-03	Daniel is VERY HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE his marriage to Judith Carter on Tuesday the 28th of October at 3:30 PM in the afternoon at The River Walk Chapel of Life in Reno Nevada. This was an incredibly HUGE AND IMPORTANT DAY in Daniel’s life as he has forever tied the knot with the woman of his dreams. A VERY HAPPY DAY for the newlyweds May GOD bless them in they’re journey through life together.
10-20-03	Daniel and his girlfriend arrive in Auburn, California at 12:45 AM in the morning on Monday the 20th of October 2003. They’re final destination after being on the road for 6 full days straight.
10-12-03	Daniel and his girlfriend packed up all their stuff in Norwalk, CT, into a Penske truck and re-located from the eastcoast, (Connecticut), to the westcoast, (California), and head out on the road for a full week driving across the United States. This was Daniel’s third time relocating from coast to coast.
10-7-03	Daniel yet once again enters S.I.D.S recording studio in Norwalk, CT, for the fourth time this year, though this time with one of his old groups Lord Have Mercy to re-record a 5 song EP of material originally recorded in 1992. This material was older material that was never really documented correctly. The purpose of this session was to really capture the Drums as best as possible given the circumstances available, and later on in a different studio all the remaining left over instruments were to be recorded and overdubbed. This material is later on planned to be re-released as a promo only release on Daniel’s Visionaryquest music label. Future details to follow, so stay tuned.
9-8-03	While continuing to travel a little further south in California on holiday with his girlfriend, Daniel pulls off onto a remote road east of highway 395 and travels up into the White Mountains to 10,000 feet high in the sky to discover the oldest living things on earth. The ancient Bristlecone pine forest, which was also absolutely fascinating. Some of these ancient trees were living 4 to 5000 years before the pyramids were constructed in ancient Egypt. Another land of enchantment.
9-7-03	While travelling on holiday in the eastern Sierra Mountains of California, Daniel and his girlfriend both discover a place completely forgotten about time. An incredibly remote place near Mono Lake that he called the calcium carbonate alien planetscape that was definitely one of the strangest environments he has ever encountered. A truly mesmerizing place of absolute silence and stillness that was totally like being on another planet.
5-30-03	Daniel is in contact with his, at the time, website designer Pete Levin and he is informed that his website is back up on the Internet after a brief absence. His website is also under a new hosting account, as he was unhappy with the previous host.
4-27-03	Daniel once again moves out of his parent’s home in Stamford, CT, for the second time in almost 5 years as he and his girlfriend move into their first real apartment together locally in Norwalk, CT.
3-31-03	Daniel enters S.I.D.S recording studio in Norwalk, CT, for the third and final session to continue and finish up the task of transferring all his master tapes to a medium that will allow him to download all the backing tracks he will need in order to perform live. On this session he primarily concentrated on remixing and equing all his backing tracks from his Unidentifiable Realms and Fireflowers CD’s. Again, this is for his upcoming Awakening tour. After this session, he will be completely finished with this task.
3-17-03	Daniel enters S.I.D.S recording studio in Norwalk, CT, for the second of three sessions to continue the task of transferring all his master tapes to a medium that will allow him to download all the backing tracks he will need in order to perform live for his upcoming Awakening tour.
3-10-03	Daniel enters S.I.D.S recording studio in Norwalk, CT for the first of three sessions believe it or not after approximately 7 years and 19 days absence since he last worked in the studio. He began the task of recovering some lost and damaged Awakening out take material and performs a whole new mix from the ground up on one of his compositions. He also began the task of compiling all of his live backing tracks for the live performance set that he will need in order to do solo shows for his upcoming Awakening tour.
2-18-03	Daniel meets with his graphic artist in Stamford, CT, for the very last time and has a marathon 11 hour session to finally finish up all the computer graphics and artwork that needed to get done in order for him to finish off all the artwork in his debut series trilogy. After all the work was finally completed, several CD-r disks were burned and all the artwork was placed in order on these disks for future reference. After ALOT of hard work and persistence, (many weeks and multiple sessions with tons of hours spent), Daniel finally see’s through to the very end with the huge monumental task of getting all his artwork entirely completed for the Awakening debut series trilogy.
01-01-03	A DAY DANIEL HAS BEEN WAITING FOR, FOR A VERY LONG LONG TIME. Visionaryquest music in association with the Spacing Guild are very proud to announce the long overdue arrival of (sound animator) Daniel Todd Carter's Revelation Debut CD entitled Awakening. Official release date Wednesday, January 1st, 2003. The first in a series trilogy. The Revelation project was officially formed in August 1995. Although the beginnings of the project can be traced to October, 1993. Sound Animator is a totally unique entity and his eclectic project was formed around his personal visions to engage in sonic explorations of inner and outer space phenomena and describe these phenomena in both musical, lyrical, and visual terms. Visionary sounds from the mind and the edge of time.
11-25-02	Daniel FINALLY sends off via Fed Ex overnight service his completed package for his debut CD AWAKENING to the duplication house in New Jersey. This moment signifies a new beginning in many ways, and is a very historic personal moment for him in his career.
11-17-02	Daniel has a meeting with his graphic artist to do the final proofs for his first release AWAKENING in his series debut trilogy on all his artwork for this particular release, and finally burns a CD to get ready for the duplication house.
11-10-02	More recording sessions with guest Greg Kozlowski of Architectural Metaphor, as he returns for the 2nd time to track guitar overdubs on a couple more tracks of Daniel's Awakening trilogy outtake material at Daniel's Earthbase 1 studio. The session yielded good results though was very short lived.
10-12-02	Daniel has his very first ever professional photo publicity shoot to promote himself and his new label and project which is set to release a debut trilogy in the new year 2003. It is shot in the old Yale lock industrial complex factory in the south end of Stamford CT, as once again Daniel returns there to do some professional photos on this rainy day in the fall.
9-25-02	While on holiday in Cape Cod with his new girlfriend in Province town, Daniel found a really small though very cool Himalayan store and ended up purchasing his very first Tabla set, (handmade in Nepal), and of very high quality he might add. Extremely psyched!!!
06-19-02	Official re-launching of Sound animator Daniel Todd Carter's website, under the new Visionaryquest music label and refacing of the old site into the new version that it is as of today. Well, he finally made it!!!! The first actual website that is once and for all right and completely functional. Since 1998, he has been trying to get a functioning site up on the net that really worked and really represented him. Now, 2 failed attempts and 4 totally unreliable and dishonest web designers later, it looks like now he finally found the right individual to once and for all make the site right, which he can now proudly say that it is. Daniel's new web designer is Pete Levin, who is the brother of Tony Levin, (a famous bassist with King Crimson and Peter Gabriel), so he knew that he was in the right place finally after much bullshit and flakiness from other people jerking him around and 3 whole years of procrastination, it finally happened and he must say that he can highly recommend Pete Levin at www.petelevin.com.
05-13-02	Daniel at this time is still working on finishing up his 3rd CD in his debut CD Awakening trilogy series, entitled Fireflowers. This has been a very long and arduous task going on now for almost 7 1/2 years. Many, many setbacks have of course gotten in the way many many times over the past few years, but, very slowly, this one of a kind Sci-Fi concept album is coming closer to reality. Daniel has over the course of creating this CD relocated over 10,000 miles (with virtually everything he owned in tow), 4 times coast to coast. He has also had numerous living problems (a place of residence), financial problems (inconsistent income), and numerous obstacles that he had to hurdle just to get to this point. Daniel is also still working on completing some Awakening trilogy outtake material, (9 more tracks), that have also been worked on since the very beginning of this project. Fairly soon he will have reached a turning of the pages and a change in the way he approaches his compositional craft, with the completion of all his debut trilogy material, and a forward sense of moving on to new challenges.
04-09-02	Daniel's old Virusmusic site designed by www.bigwavebuz.com is officially torn down and permanently removed from www.soundanimator.com and work immediately began on refacing and redesigning his whole site over again. It was decided after a lot of thought that it would be smarter and much more logical to drop the old Virus music concept and completely redesign the whole label/studio and website over again and rename it Visionaryquest music to completely sever all ties that he had previously had with the old Virus music site and www.bigwavebuz.com. A completely new identity.
03-25-02	Daniel significantly improves and updates his recording studio and also renames it Earthbase 1 studio to coincide with the renaming of his new label and website. With new gear comes new working and composing / recording techniques in order to adapt to the new gear and assimilate it all into the overall setup. At this time, Daniel is still working on finishing up his Cydonia suite, (which is a brand new 9 part, 26 minute long suite), that Daniel has composed for his 3rd CD in his series debut Awakening trilogy, entitled Fireflowers. Progress is slow, though it is happening. More news to follow.

8.15.01	On August 15 2001, Sound Animator will be celebrating it's 6th anniversary with this project and things are very bright. Not only will Daniel have a brand new web site, but he will finally once and for all be releasing his debut CD "Awakening" early in 2003 after many set backs and delays.
8.10.01	As of 08.10.01 Daniel has finally finished composing the original short story that will accompany his 3rd CD in his debut series trilogy entitled "Fireflowers" [The Story of The Fabled Red People]. This debut CD trilogy is entitled "The Awakening Trilogy" and the sci - fi short story that will be included with "Fireflowers" will be a total concept CD in every sense of the word. The story itself still needs to be edited, though the outline of the overall CD has been achieved.
3.14.00	On 14th March 2000, at The Paris Cafe in downtown Sacramento, CA, Daniel performed his very first official solo performance which was very well received. Many more live dates are planned and will follow, so please stay tuned for further updates.
